Nerve Conduction Study (NCV)

Nerve conduction studies are commonly used to evaluate the function of the motor and sensory nerves of the human body. Nerve conduction studies are used mainly for evaluation of parenthesis (numbness, tingling, burning) and/or weakness of the arms and legs. 

 Common disorders diagnosed by nerve conduction studies include:

  • PERIPHERAL NEUROPATHY
  • CARPAL TUNNEL SYNDROME
  • ULNAR NEUROPATHY
  • TARSAL TUNNEL SYNDROME 

The Nerve Conduction Study Consists of the Following Components:

  • MOTOR NCV
  • SENSORY NCV
  • F-WAVE STUDY
  • H-REFLEX STUDY
